Party Policy and Agreement

 

 

Reservations:  Please call to schedule your party 3 to 4 weeks in advance of your desired party date.  We will meet within 1 week to sign the party agreement and secure your date with a non-refundable deposit which will be determined by the party package you select.

 

Deposit:  A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your party date.  Deposit will be accepted in cash, check or money order payable to Universal Messengers, LLC.

 

Forms of Payment:  The balance of the party is due 1 week prior to the party in cash, check or money order payable to Universal Messengers, LLC.  If any other services are added after balance is paid, the remaining balance will be due on party date prior to services rendered.

 

Gratuity & Tipping:  Gratuity is not required, but is accepted and always appreciated for a job well done.

 

Minimun/Maximum Attendance:  Our party packages are designed for a minimum of 10 guests (including the guest of honor).  Parties smaller than 10 will be charged for the minimum of 10 children.  The maximum guest preferred is 20, however, additional guest are welcome at an additional cost requiring additional staff at a rate of $50 per staff member which will be added to your total.

 

RSVP Confirmation:  One week prior to your party, we will confirm your final guest count.  This will be the number we use to determine appropriate quantities for place settings, party goods, favors and food (if applicable).

 

Attendance of Guests:  Some guests may not show up to the party, even if they RSVP. Please remember that we charge according to the final guest count that you provided prior to the party, not the number of children that show up.  Party will begin on time even if all guests have not arrived. If extra time is desired, there will be an additional fee due at the time requested.

 

Siblings of Guests:  Our party packages cover only guest of honor and their guests.   Please include any sibling in the final guest count if you would like for them to participate in the party activities to insure proper amount of supplies.

 

Adult at Party:  We ask that the parent(s) of the birthday child to please stay for the duration of the party to attend to possible needs of the children.  However in an effort to provide the maximum experiennce for your child, we ask that you communicate any special needs ahead of time so that our staff is equpped to accommodate.

 

Inclement Weather/Illness:  In the case of severe weather or unforeseen circumstances/illness, Universal Messengers reserves the right to reschedule your party.  Every attempt will be made to move forward in the case of severe weather if  inside accommodations are available (at your expense).  If you choose to cancel the party due to severe weather or illness, please remember that your deposit is non-refundable.  We will gladly work with you to reschedule your party for an alternate date (within 1 year).   Please be advised, if new invitations, food or beverages are needed there will be an additional charge.

 

Cancellations and Rescheduling:  Once your party is booked and the deposit is paid, the party can only be postponed one time.  Based on availability, we will gladly work with you to reserve an alternate date for your party.  If you decide to cancel your party for any reason, the deposit is non-refundable. Please remember, there will be an additional charge if you wish to re-send invitations to your guests.

 

Liability:  Univeral Messengers, LLC,  its owners and employees assume no responsibility or liability for accidents, allergies relating to food items, party or spa products, injuries to party guests, or property damage.  We can assure you we will provide a safe and entertaining environment for your guests, and will treat your home as if it were our own.  Even though we love pets, we ask that you put up any large or fiesty animals that may pose a threat to your guests.

 

Travel Charge:  Universal Messengers, LLC  will require an additional fee for any travel over 50 miles from Wilmington, DE.  The fee is $50 up to an additional 50 miles.  Distances further can be negotiated.

 

UNIVERSAL MESSENGERS, LLC  HAS PROVIDED OUR POLICY AND TERMS OF SERVICE WITH THE ASSUMPTION THAT YOU HAVE READ THEM AND AGREE TO OUR POLICIES BEFORE SIGNING THE PARTY AGREEMENT.  IF THERE ARE ANY QUESTIONS REGARDING THE ABOVE POLICIES THAT YOU DO NOT UNDERSTAND, PLEASE ASK FOR CLARIFICATION BEFORE RESERVING YOUR PARTY AND NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT.
