Educational Workshops are designed to be interactive, fun and exciting while providing an"Edutainment" experience. There are several workshops available to accomodate your individual needs. Brochures, additional information and order forms will be sent prior to visit to ensure parent authorization and payment.
1.) Classroom Worshop- Author will perform a book reading, question/answer session, book signing, and a group picture with the Alexis McDougal Mascot. Individual pictures with mascot can be arranged at a separate cost. The duration of this package is approximately 1.5 hour (which includes at least 20 minutes for book signing). This package is available for a minimum sales of at least 20 books at the regular price of $9.95, along with a service fee. Gift baskets and other Alexis McDougal merchadise also available. Setup time is 15-20 minutes prior to workshop.
2.) Auditorium Workshop- Author will perform a book reading, question/answer session, book signing, an interactive creative story session with the children. Also includes a group picture with Alexis McDougal Mascot. Individual pictures with mascot can be arranged at a separate cost. The duration of this package is approximately 2 - 2.5 hours (which includes at least 30 minutes for book signing). This package is available for a minimum sales of at least 60 books at the regular price of $9.95, along with a service fee. Gift baskets and other Alexis McDougal merchadise also available. Setup time is 30-40 minutes prior to workshop.
3.) Live Stage Skit/Play- A live performance of our first book, "The Day I Met My New Special Friend", which focuses on self-love, self-esteem, friendship, forgiveness, and world peace. This stage skit is available with a minimum sales of 100 books at the regular price of $9.95 along with a service fee. The production can also be performed at a separate rate without any minimum sales of books and products. Setup time is approximately 1 hour prior to production.
